This explains what personal information we keep, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We keep as little as we can.

Who we are

Soul Creations By Kay is run by Kay Roberts, 62 Astil Street, Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, DE15 9DL. Kay is responsible for your information. You can contact her at soulcreations.sales@gmail.com.

What we collect, and why

• When you order: your name, delivery address, email address and what you bought. We need these to send your order, to tell you about it, and to deal with any return or refund. Royal Mail's Signed For record, matched to your name and address, is also our proof that an order arrived.
• When you email us: your email address and what you write, so that we can reply.
• When you pay: your card details go straight to SumUp, who take the payment. We never see or store your card number. SumUp tells us whether the payment went through.

We use your information only for your order and your questions. We don't send marketing emails, and we never sell or swap your information.

Who else handles it

• SumUp takes card payments.
• Royal Mail receives your name and address to deliver your order.
• Cloudflare runs this website.
• Google provides our email and stores our order records.

Each of these handles your information only to provide its service to us.

How long we keep it

We keep your name, delivery address and email address for 4 months after we post your order. That covers returns, refunds and any query about delivery. After that they are deleted automatically.

We keep a record of the sale itself for six years, because tax law requires it: what was sold, when, for how much, and the payment reference. That record contains no name, address or email.

Emails you send us are deleted once they're no longer needed for an order or a question.

Cookies

This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't use analytics. If you add things to your basket, the basket is remembered by your own browser on your own device, and goes nowhere else until you check out.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we don't need to keep it by law. Email soulcreations.sales@gmail.com.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
